Paid with coins you win in races. Upgrades, gear and powers are switched off in online races, so they stay fair.
Urge in rhythm. Tap URGE (or ↑ / W✕ / R2) when the ring closes onto the button and glows green, right on the big hoof beat. Perfect urges in a row build a combo and more speed. Off-beat taps just waste stamina.
Mind the stamina. Every urge uses stamina; it comes back when you ease off. A tired horse slows down, so save some for the home straight. Ride just behind another horse to draft and rest.
Jump! Before each fence a bar appears. Press JUMP (or Space○) when the marker hits the green zone. Too early and you clip it; forget and you crash through it.
Lanes. ◀ ▶ (or ← →L-stick / D-pad) move across the track. The inside rail is the shortest way round, but you can get boxed in.
Your stable. Groom your horse after each race, feed it for energy and condition, give it a pat, and train Speed, Stamina and Jump. Resting horses get back 1 energy every 30 minutes. Buy new horses with your winnings.
More ways to ride. Endurance is two long laps. Time trials race the ghost of your best run. The Daily challenge and the Weekly Cup have leaderboards. Steer over 🧲 lucky horseshoes for coins (and look out for a rare golden one).
